Is there a scam going on in facebook?

well I keep getting these friend request from girls and when I add them they message me to call them and when I go to there Facebook page they always just recently joined. this is like the 3rd time this has happened.

You should check their profile before adding. However, if you had added already, its advisable to remove them immediately. This is definitely scamming process. Either they added you to spam or get benefited by your personal info on facebook.
