Why is my friend not getting my facebook message?

I have sent a message to this girl that's a friend of mine and she never saw it but she was on fb many times during the day. There is no reason she would not respond. After receiving no seen notice or reply, I sent a hi just to see if there was some glitch, but this time it took her a day to respond, when she was on many times during the previous day. I asked her a question and the same thing is happening, she has not seen message but she has been on fb.

when you say she's a friend, do you mean in real life? is she on your facebook friends list too? if not, your messages are going to be sent to her "other messages" folder - otherwise she is just lying to you because she doesnt want to answer your question

Did she say she never saw it or are you assuming that because it never indicated "seen" on the message. Sometimes people will click the message notification just to see who the message is from, although this doesn't mark the message as being "seen".

If she didn't actually click into it, it's not "seen" and she probably just forgot to respond or wanted to just reply later.
