Facebook Icon on my phone?

Hi, guys! I have a Galaxy S Advance. I wanted to add the Facebook application and I installed it but there isn't an icon neither on the main menu, nor on the app menu. I have to log in Facebook from the browser. Any ideas how to launch an icon?
And another question - I can't download any applications from the Google Play Shop, they start downloading and after a few minutes an "Error in downloading" box appears. How can I fix this?

Clear the cache for the Google Play Store/Shop and you can get through. If you can't, uninstall the Shop and go to browser and search up the Shop and you get it back. After that, you can start to shop there again.

i have a samsung galaxy s 4 .....
some days ago i have the same problem......
try to restart your mobile ....
if the problem not solve then reinstall the google play store.....
if not solve .....it is a problem of your internet service provider......call them

at last the problem not solve ...you can go to samsung care.....

You say you cant download from google play, how come that you install facebook?

There is no way to launch an icon, it should be automatically created on App menu and home screen.

Maybe you havent completed installing the facebook thats why you cant see it.

You maybe had a bad internet connection thats why you cant download app from google play.
