if i have no followers on twitter who can see my tweets?

ok i wana talk to someone and they only have a twitter and i dont have a twitter. i just made one so i have one now and no followers. im gona delete it when im done. i want to ask this person a question but i do not want anyone else to see it. just this person....very important that its only this person who sees it. so how can i do this? this person is also not following me but i am following them. and what happens if i set my twitter to private? i have no clue how to use twitter please help me

If you set your account to private, nobody can see your tweets unless you've accepted their follow. If you have no followers and not on private, people will only see your tweets if they go to your profile, and maybe if you use hashtags then anybody looking at that tag can see it.
