Today I made an account on twitter. It might sound silly but were do I start? I've chosen some followers. But how do I get people to follow me? Not many of my friends have twitter. My twitter name is @I_am_Vicky26

Okay so your tweets can only be 140 characters. You will soon see random people will follow you on twitter. For more followers you can post your twitter name on you social networking site such as Facebook, tumblr, myspace. On you twitter profile page you can edit the background, your bio, where you live and a profile picture. In your tweets you can but things called hash tags EX; #yolo or #prevtweet they just emphasis what you're tweeting about. hope this help!

you use @ to talk to another person on twitter, be it a friend, someone you don't know or a celebrity.
they will then receive a notification that you have 'mentioned' them.

the # means that you hashtag a word. for example #twitter becomes a link that you can click, it will direct you to every twitter post that has #twitter in it.

just tweet quotes, stuff you're doing, song lyrics, absolutely ANYTHING you want
