how to hid status updates from certain people in the facebook app for android.?

I I'm wanting to hid some of my posts from a certain person on my friends list in rhe facebook app for android but do not want to delete this person. How can I do this through rhe facebook app l? I know how to do it on the computer but if I do it there will it carry on the same way with the app?

I tried to do this on my android as well got nowhere. Only seem to do it on the computer :/
