how to see facebook message without him seeing?

okay many of us have seen that like when u send someone a message u can see if he had seen it or not
its written below seen at 2:36 pm etc


my friend has send a message but i dont want him to know that i read it
so what to do?
if i open up the message he can see seen by me


please tell me a way please

Open the messages tab and read the preview, you might not be able to see all of it if its a long message or you could just open it...

If you have Google Chrome, you can go to the app store and download this thing where it goes into your computer and it keeps them from seeing where you've read it. I think its called "Facebook Message Seen Notification Remover" or "FB Unseen". I've used the first one for my laptop and it worked with no problems or mishaps. Not sure if it works on mobile though...
