How did it feel after deleting a friend of Facebook?

I have a friend with whom I was able to grow a good friendship over a year despite several bumps; mostly because she got my words in the wrong way.
But recently; from a certain moment, she started to ignore me even when I said "hi" when she was online. That was rude. Maybe she was busy; but I know the fact that she has neither any education nor a job due to her severe mental ill. So, she must have plenty of time. At the same time, she became friends with new ones.
Is it the time to delete her from Facebook?

Message her again in a way of giving her a chance and if she has seen the message and has not responded within three days, delete her. Simple as that.
