How can you hide your relationship statues on facebook?

So, i'm dating this guy and, and recently on Facebook, he sent me this Relationship Statues request. I want to accept it, because, why not? I'm okay with people knowing I'm dating him. But, what I'm not okay with is, my cousins knowing. I love my family to death, and i tell them anything - but not my cousins.. See, i have these really embarrassing cousins, who'd do ANYTHING to make things awkward for me and him - and i do mean anything. They do this a lot; example, i'd buy this hat, see my cousins later, then they'd be like 'What the hell are you wearing? You stupid or something.' >.> I'd be really bold and confident of something, then they open up their mouths, and suddenly, my self asteem lowers.
I'm pretty sure they don't mean harm, but i wear my heart on my sleeve and take things pretty serious.

Anyway, I've seen that when someone does accept the Relationship Statues request, there's a little statues on my feedback saying ' So- and - so is now in a relationship ' and yada yada.

Is there anyway i could possible hide the statues from certain peoples feedback, and the statues that will appear on my profile?

there is an audience selector to the right of your relationship status you can use when you click edit on that part of your settings.... i explained it here
