Facebook help please?

I've discovered I am gay and am wanting to change my interested in on facebook to men. However, I am coming out slow so before i change it need to know if it would be seen on others news feeds that I changed my "Interested In?" Please only serious answers, and no rude gay remarks please!

Yes, it will be seen in all of your friends news feed. Anything you change in your profile automatically shows up to everybody else. It's a stupid FB setting but as far as I know, you're not able to change it.

I'm not sure if it would show in news feed but I have done something similar with relationship status. When you go to your profile and click update info. Where it says interested in men or women. You click men and then on the right side adjust that only you can see it. Keep it that way and if you do it for a day then move it back to friends, it shouldn't display on people's news feeds.

you just set that part of your profile to private first, then change it, and then it wont let everyone know you change it - people would have no idea
