I didn't get an ios7 update?

I have the first iPad and an iPod 4th gen. I know to go to settings when a red notification thing is beside it. I did go into settings but there isn't one there. Anyone any ideas

First Gen ipad does not get the ios7 .Also ipod 4th is not getting it sorry

the only devices that are elgible for iOS7 are : iPhone4, 4s, 5, 5s, 5c, iPod 5th gen, iPad mini, iPad3..... theres rumour of an update for ipod4's thats the iOS7 equalivent, hope this helped

ios7 does not support either of your devices
The full list of devices supported by ios7 is:
-iPad 2nd through 4th generation
-iPod touch 5th gen
-iPhone 4, 4s, 5, 5c, 5s
-iPad mini

Sorry for the bad news but you will not be able to upgrade to ios7 worry your current devices at this time
