Will blocking a user on Instagram completely hide my photos from them?

I need to hide my feed from a certain user so I figured blocking them would be the best option. After researching I found that blocking a user means that they won't be following you any more and they can't search for your name.

But what if my friend (who is followed by this user) tags my Instagram account in their photo caption? Will the user be able to click through and see my account? Also, if the user searches for friends using the "Find & Invite Friends" option will they still find my account if I'm a phone contact or Facebook friend?

All they gotta do is make fake account. Hide pics all together but that's pointless to have profile then right ?

If you have things on your Instagram that you don't want certain people to see, then why do you have it on there in the first place? Be reminded that millions of anonymous people search those types of websites, daily and I can guarantee that no matter whom this person is that you're trying to avoid, is quite a saint compared to some people whom may visit your Instagram, regularly.

It's the internet. Openly accessible by millions without a care and not needing a reason. You need to protect your identity online as you your credit card in your wallet. Be smarter.
