Replacing photos while keeping comments?
I scanned a photo to Facebook. Now I'd like to replace that scanned photo with another one (which scanned better.) Is it possible to replace it while keeping the comments on the first image. If I delete the first image I lose the comments. I'd like to keep the comments.

Sorry, you cannot. If that would be possible, people could place an entirely different photo and keep the comments of the old photo, which could lead to strange situations. If you want to add the new photo, you can either keep the old photo too, or remove the old photo with its comments.

There is no way you can keep the comment and change the photo, either you can delete the full post or the picture.
You can edit the post and provide the link under the photo/ or in comments, of the better version of the photo. |
