Instagram wont let me follow people? Help!?

I was following people the other day to see who would follow me back, so I deleted everybody I was following so I can just readd those who are following me. However, instagram wont let me follow people no matter how many times I log on, either my ipod, android phone, or on the laptop, I reintalled it and it still wont work. Any suggestions?

I thought I was the only one with the problem... it's been happening since last night to me. I was following people to get followers & it won't let me follow!! so upsetting! - @memextreame follow me
