Can i disactivate my facebook for a while?

I feel like its a waste of time at the moment, its just mindless surfing threw pointless post bout " omg i got so drunk"... or" 20 pictures of me drinking last night" type of shiet, and i need to focus on school atm any ideas how to do it temporally, and if it will delete my contacts when i do re activate it?

If you go in settings you can deactivate your account and then reactivate it whenever you want to and nothing will be deleted.

Just deactivate it. When you feel like you want to come back for something, you can reactivate at any time by just logging back in. All of your photos, friends and whatnot will still be around when you reactivate it.

Yeah, Click sign out and forget your total account from the page.

yes ofcourse you can deactivate and in future when you want to use Fb just login with the same id and password and whole thing will be same.
If you want to deactivate account go to account settings and deactivate.
