Well it depends, if shes fb famous or looks down on u, shes most likely not gonna reply, if u guys know eachothers face but rarley or never talked a. Simple "Hey" or "whats up" is a simple opening. If you talk regularly or greet eachother you should just send a smile. Once you begin to talk asker "what are you doing" or "how was your day" those 2 questions are gateway question because they can open up to many possibilities of conversion. And keep adding up on convo. Example:
you: Hey
Her: Hey
You:wyd
Her:nothing just watching XFactor
You: oh cool, a guy I knew was on there
Her:thats nice,whats his name?
Just keep adding or commenting on what she says.
