Just saw the #thriftythursday trend on Twitter, and it made me want to research for a blog post about money saving tactics. Recently, I've been using Tesco discount codes from

at my local, which seems to save me a few quid each week quite easily. What do you do to save some cash?

Pay yourself first. My bank automatically transfers a set amount of money from my checking into my savings account each month. It just disappears from the checking account, and when you don't know it's there, you don't spend it...out of sight, out of mind. I've managed to put away a tidy sum that way.
