I have the latest version of Instagram and my Apple IOS is up to date

If you go to instagram and press the camera looking button, it will ask you to choose a photo from you photo gallery. Once you pick your photo, you will be forced to crop it from its original size. I was confused about what you were asking but hoped I help.
