A question for Facebook experts. Please help?

Hey guys, my question is that why for some people it always appear 'on mobile' even though they are online? And they using the same device as other people, facebook app for iPhone and facebook messenger. Whereas I use the same apps and I always appear to be ' active now/online' why is the difference ?

Because being on mobile means that you will always have that symbol, whether or not you continue to use the app. The reason why you sometimes appear to be online is because you didn't close the app properly.

When your Online you Have a Green Dot When you Close the App It Turns From the Green Dot To The Mobile Icon And Shows When you Were Last Active

I think they have turn off the chat while they are in online and they are using mobile for facebook
