Is there a setting on Facebook that prohibits people from messaging me?

I'm not asking to only prevent people I'm not friends with from messaging me. I don't want to be able to receive messages from anyone! Is there a way I can do this? Thank you.

Try blocking the people that frequently message you.

Then you have to block everyone

You can just go offline and no one should chat you unless it's super urgent.. and even if they do I don't see why it matters..? Blocking everyone is an option though.
