Why does my boyfriend still have photos of him and his ex on facebook still?

It means that he is not over her YET! Or wants her to think he hasn't moved on. Or maybe he is still with her & cheating on her with you!

As far as I'm concerned this means that either he's too lazy to delete the pictures, or maybe he enjoyed the relationship and doesn't want to immediately destroy all evidence that it took place?
It's okay for him to have nice memories from a previous relationship; it doesn't mean he still loves her, doesn't love you, or would rather be with her. It just means that he had a relationship and he took some pictures in that relationship that are on Facebook.

I'd say it's pretty common and you have no reason to be worried whatsoever.

Don't get paranoid until he's keeping a picture of her under his pillow/asking you to wear a picture of her face over yours at all times.
