There is no option for delete as far as I'm aware. You may deactivate.

You can deactivate and choose to never log back in, but never delete. It's not an option. Google how to DEACTIVATE Facebook Smile

Hi
There is a way to delete fb account. Use this link to delete it. https://www.facebook.com/help/delete_account . All you have to do is first login into your fb account. Then in a new tab open the above link. Then you will be able to delete the account. You shouldn't open your account for 14days after deleting. Then your account is permanently deleted.

Hello friend,

You can not delete FB account. They do not provide any such feature. The reason behind is that they care for their customers and they don't want to break the relationships with their customers. But, yes if you want you can deactivate your account.

Just follow these steps

1. Logged into your FB Account.
2. At the top right side of the Home page, you can see some options like Home, Find friends etc... Click on the last option.
3. Select "Account Settings" option from the list.
4. You will be redirected to the "Account Settings" page. There you can see the "Security" option on the left.
5. At the page below, you can see the "Deactivate your account"
6. Click on that link and you will be redirected to Deactivate Page
7. There you need to provide the reason and some other options. Then click on "Confirm" button.
8. You will be asked for Password and then for Security Check
9. Click on Submit button and you account will be deactivated.

Please note that, you can return back to FB whenever you want just by entering ID and PWD again.

ALL THE BEST
