I'm stuck need ideas PLEASE help.?

Ok so a couple years ago I really got into this guy but I was in a complicated situation with my ex however I always wondered what we could have had I can't for the life of me remember his last name! I know his first name and I am trying to find him on Facebook we have no mutual friends is there anyway to find him with out looking through a million nicks ? I've tried using my activity log to find the friends I've added and since I deleted him he's not there. I'm stuck

If you know the general area of which he lives and things like that you can look for him in advance search.
