Can Someone Explain to me Why Republicans Support Corporate Welfare But Oppose Social Welfare Programs?

a lot of the Republican beliefs are contradictory. They are a paradoxal people.

here is another example... they oppose both abortion and social welfare. they ask why should my takes pay for your baby, when you can't afford it. they tell poor people that if they can't afford the baby, not to have the baby.... but don't have an abortion, because abortion is terrible.

you know, Abe Lincoln was a republican. He led the North to free the slaves. Republicans, with George in the white house, have made this welfare reform law that forces welfare recipients to work 20 hour weeks to get a 300 dollar monthly welfare check. That is well below minimum wage, it is slave labor.

While I agree that people should work if they can, and I do not want anybody to be a 'dead beat'... slave labor is just WRONG.

A united business front is stronger in the market. We need such things to keep them offering jobs. As for the welfare problem people can do the same all you need to do is live in a village or compound where you pool your money the you will see why those of us that understand this process hate the welfare beggars. Businesses offer jobs that dirt-bags don't take because they can get a check for sitting on there A@@. Remove welfare and replace it with mandatory work programs that force welfare recipients to work as they get welfare. This will fill up the jobs that illegal immigrants are taking and there will be no need for them and America comes out on top of the books all the way around

As far as a business not succeeding on its own can be said of most small farms as well, but we continue to throw ridiculous money at all kinds of programs there. From subsidies to paying them to NOT grow anything.
