The 9 friends that show up on your profile?

Im aware of 3 things: 1. these are not randomly selected, 2. the 9 friends you see on your profile are not the same friends that other people see on your profile and vice versa, and 3. you cannot see yourself as a "friend" on someone else's profile. Now I know these aren't randomly selected because definitely the 9 people on my page are ones I interact with/stalk the most. My crush and some of my closest friends. My question is this: are the 9 friends you see on someone ELSES profile significant to the number of interactions they have with your friend? I ask this because there's someone on my crush's page that is always there..a dude..I know she's liked a few of his pics (stalker I know)..is he there because SHE interacts with him a lot? or because I've looked at his page a few times? hope this makes sense. Please be nice
