Worried over omegle conversation?
I was on Omegle on the Answer a question mode and here is a log of the conversation. I'm just worried because the other person said to be a girl of 14 after a couple of jokes that were not even related to her so I'd appreciate it if you could read the log and see if there is anything inappropriate on my side? I was making a joke and I apologized when she told me she was 14. I'm a 19 year old female and I was in no way sexually harrassing her or even talking sexually to her. After the first things she wrote I thought she was older, even older than me so that's why I made the virginity joke and at the end when I say "having a sex conversation with a teen" i think it is pretty obvious that I mean that we're talking about things related to sex and not us engaging in personal sexual conversation.
Please help, I'm a bit worried

Don't sweat it. Teens are more maturely thinking than we give them credit for. She didn't seem uncomfortable and contributed to the conversation just as much as you did. You were sensible in telling her she probably hasn't found 'the guy' yet and to wait, one small chat on omegle won't affect her, especially considering she said she could have mentioned worse Smile

No one cares about this... Law enforcement has better things to worry about. Go relax.

Don't over think it. No one takes that site seriously. The law technically can't persecute you, unless someone files a complaint, etc.

When are kids (and yes, you are a kid) going to realize that chatting with strangers on sites like Omegle isn't safe.

While I didn't view the conversation (I never follow links I'm unsure of), it doesn't matter. You were chatting with a stranger not knowing who this person is or even how old the person is. How do you even know this was a girl? How do you know "she" is 14? Because she told you? Right. And no one ever lies on line when chatting with a stranger.

Don't worry about the conversation. If this person really is a 14 year old girl, she didn't tell you and since 14 year olds are not supposed to be on Omegle (the age requirement is 18), who is she going to tell? Her mommy? I'm sure if she did that, her mommy would kick her butt (I know I would) for registering for the site.

This was probably some sleazy old man getting his jollies pretending to be someone he isn't.

Now, stay off these stupid sites. They never come to any good. This time, you were lucky. Next time, you could run into someone who can actually find your IP address and general location. After that, who knows what else he could find.
