I accidently hid a comment on somebody's facebook page?
I am not friend with that person, I was roaming through their page. I accidentally clicked hide comment on a post of theirs. I don't want that person to know I did it.

you only hid it from seeing it yourself - it doesnt get hidden from anyone else, and the person will have no way of knowing that you did it
