Would a strong police force/military be a social issue?

I think I may be socially fascist however I am not sure if I am just interpreting the information I have been reading wrong. Also, is it possible to be socially fascist? Or does fascism refer to the economy? Because I do not agree with the socialist aspects of fascism, I agree with free market capitalism, so this is what leads me to believe that I am socially fascist but economically conservative.

Authoritarianism comes in many flavors and isn't necessarily fascist or anything else for that matter.

It certainly is one of the components found in all governments that get labeled as "fascist" (there was really only one Fascist goverment and oddly enough they were the Italian Fascist Party.)

What would be the difference between "Fascists", North Korea,or the Stalinist Soviets when it comes to militarization and wuthoritarian state police?
