If I block someone, after they sent me a message, will they see that I saw it?

My friend got a message from her ex-bestie and doesn't want her to know she read it, so if she blocks her, will her best friend see the "seen" button?

Well it all depends if she has a iPhone and he does to or that friend does and if she didnt take off on setting the send notification to person when you have read there msg then yeah they saw she read it if she didnt have if on in the first place then they can't see if
