How to upload pictures from Instagram for Andriod to facebook?

So I recently got instagram and I took a picture which I wanted to also upload to facebook via instagram. I thought it was automatically supposed to do it but it didn't so I went to the picture and clicked on photo options and clicked share to facebook, which it did. However, it wasn't the same as I've seen other people do because all it did was post a link to get to the picture on the instagram website and I didn't say the usual "so and so took a photo with Instagram" and it didn't put it in an album or anything. How can I fix this?
