Why don't I have the options wife&partner in my family member list on Facebook?

I have things like sister, brother, cousin, etc, but not those two??
I'm trying to add my friend as my "partner" but no you don't have to be in a relationship for that, my other friend has someone marked as their partner and they aren't in a relationship with anyone, they're marked as "single", she also has someone marked as her "wife", but I don't have either of those options on the drop down list of family members.

You need to be in a relationship with them for that option
