Are Nokia Lumias Good?
I would just be mainly be using these apps:

Facebook
YouTube
Internet
Snapchat
Texting
A bit of gaming

It's on contract and I would have it for 2 years

I would use it nearly all the time so it'd have to have a good battery life?

And not to lag after like 2 months.

I'm on the network 3,

I've been looking at the Nokia Lumia 925 and it seems good with a nice screen

Thanks guys

Plz dont go with stupid windows phones like Nokia lumia bcz
limited games and apps
All best apps are paid apps
Every next click requires internet even to install a app
No black method is available to get paid app for free.
Only rectangluar widgets no special themez only color changing is available.
Root device option is not available kn windows phones
original pattern lock is unavailable.
My file means file manager is unavailable which always comes on cheap phones as well
only open supported media file and dont show files like abc.xyz
Worest os
i think microsoft corp. is being more greedy in the matter of wibdows phones they avoid consumer satisfaction aspect and basic need of consumer aspect. I personally suggest u dont recommend ur frnds to buy this hell bcz i m having thousands of troubles with srap lumia phones but in quality aspect lumia is best.

The question "Are nokia lumias good?" mostly have biased answers and will vary from people to people.
This is my completely neutral answer to your question:
PROS:
If you are going to use Facebook, Youtube, Internet , Snapchat then lumias have all of it and are pretty good at it too.

There are hardly any lags (even after months) as compared to the androids which become laggy after a certain period of use.

They even provide a good customer support and give out operating system updates very often and for all lumias, contrary to androids which discontinue the os updates for the lower end devices.

They even have a good camera which have plenty of useful features.

CONS:

But if you frequently customize your phone and like it to be personalized according to your need and mood, then Lumia certainly lack these things. You cannot change the default tiles view with some other layout of your choice as you can do it on android by installing new themes, skins and launchers.

Although the windows store is expanding, still it does not have most of the good apps that are there in android market and apple store.

The hardware specification of Lumia is good but you will have hardly any apps that could fully use these resources.

You cannot install any third party apps in windows like you can do it on android.

You do not have a file explorer whereas androids have it

The most important feature of android which android users brag about is the capabilty to root them, this is cannot be done for windows.

In one line:
if you have a fixed and monotonous way of using your phone then go for lumias where as if you are the experimentalist and keep changing the things around in your phone and like discovering new apps everyday then go for android.
