Facebook is saying my email does not belong to any account and will not let me log in...what?

I went to log into facebook and it just says my email "does not belong to any account." I try my phone number, nothing. I try my username, nothing. I even try the "find my account" feature by typing in my name and a friend's name. NOTHING. I have tried absolutely everything. I even emailed Facebook and they said "because I can't validate my account they can't help me." As of 12 hours ago I logged in with the exact same email address it won't accept now. It appears that there is nothing whatsoever that I can do. I looked at my page via my sister's account and it is still there, but with a different facebook email address instead of my own. I tried to log in with that and it won't let me.

I am really disturbed and upset by this. Not because I care that much about Facebook but because I have had this same account for 6 years with photos, friends, private messages, personal information, etc. that for whatever reason Facebook will not let me access. Is this really how social media should operate?

Any guidance would be great. I can't find the answer to this problem anywhere...

well same here...
my login account was yahoo (ymail), i got 2 another fb accounts were using yahoo mail also said this email not belongs to any fb account! i saved my email and pw on chrome so i am sure i didnt type my mail wrong. it is lucky that i created a facebook.com mail before and i remember it. then i tried login with that and it works! i quickly change my email to gmail. seems that lots of ppl got this problem today, not sure it is yahoo mail problem or what else. hope they fix it and got your account back!

Go to the Facebook contact page and send them an email. They can help you fix the problem.
