Facebook - stupid Timeline thing..?
I just heard their eventually going to make Timeline mandatory in Facebook. I don't want any of that crap on my profile. How come there isn't a mass exodus / protests yet about this?
for people that have it now, are we able to prevent / block from showing ALL of our Timeline stuff ? Stupidest invention ever from Facebook. Ads |

Timeline doesn't show anything that isn't already visible. If people want to see your past (though I doubt it's that interesting anyway) they already can.

not everyone will have it , facebook gives it to a few users in your region , to represent it , then , you look at it & decide if you want it or not ,. i actually like the timeline . the only difference , two columns , not one .

I agree: it's horrible!! I hate it when I have to read one of my friends timeline. Very difficult to follow, so messy.

there is no way to get rid of it - everyone is being converted to the timeline - it's the new look for facebook

How in the world Zuckerberg and his cronies get paid what they do and end up with something like Timeline is beyond me. Looks to me like they hired a couple of toddlers to throw it together. If they change mine to Timeline, I'm off Facebook. I'm sick and tired of them "controlling" us and that's exactly what they're doing. A lot of things we posted months or years ago, we don't want readily available not only to ourselves to relive, but others. It's a damn shame...that's all I can say.
