Please help me with my Facebook privacy.?

I have my Facebook profile set to private, I have went through everything and set it so only my friends can see it. Not friends of friends, just friends. I had asked a friend to unfriend me and look at my profile to see what you could see. It is showing my recent activities (profile picture changes, installing iSO messenger ETC...) What in the world do I have to do to make it so it doesn't even show this?? I have tried to look at other posts but I couldn't find anything that was recent.

I understand that there are many different selections and they are all set to only FRIENDS. So why can you see people who are not on my friends list still see things like my changing profile picture and me installing messenger on my iPhone. They cant see things i'm posting just the things i mentioned above.
Oh and I haven't changed my profile over to the new "timeline" thing yet.

there isnt just a single simple setting for privacy - it's different for different things

when u leave any comment than u will find a small box under ur status box ... Just change it into (Friends) ... http://Www.facebook.com/sourabh.jawandha is my id plz rqst me

Make sure on your time line you will set up for each operation/status change the same rules apply.

Go to your timeline and in right, upper corner of each operation you will see the option.

Try also Privacy -> Limit the Audience for Past Posts -> Limit Old Posts

priv. Setting> there are 4 options like public, frnds of frnds, frnds, custom> friends

Wall> edit profile> rightside setting icon> change all of them
