Marketing - a motive of social change?
You have to explain the above mentioned topic with respect to effects that marketing is having on society in general. You are also supposed to appreciate the good and bad effects of marketing in our country and how marketing can be geared towards a better society.

Lets just say the science is very sophisticated and powerful. Societal norms appear to shift as the "marketing" power changes hands. Almost everone is under the marketing spell. Being marketed to is essential to socialization. We are accustomed to it as way of life. Just look at the numbr of people who think that there is some kind of moral justification for Israel bombing Lebanon. There is none. If you disagree, then I hold that it is the power of marketing that compels you to feel this way.
