What does it mean when a guy says to you I'm sure I'll see you around?

I ran into a guy that I used to talk to on twitter. He recognized me in a supermarket. He was working with a company that were launching their product. He spoke for about 20min but he had to go back to work. He kissed both of my checks and said I'm sure I'll see you around.

Do you think this guy wants to see me again or is he just being polite?

Wow too much too soon. How does anyone one know what he meant, it sounded like an off the cuff remark as he was getting back to work.
Carry on with your life and if your paths happen to cross again perhaps something will develop.
