Even if you got stuff on private, can someone really take a look at your facebook profile?

Let's say that you're not accepting adds from people who you DO NOT know. Or you DO NOT want on your facebook friends list.

Then you apply for NASA space engineering or some other high paying job with many brillant workers. Then your boss (who has a Master's degree) Leena Smith adds you and then you don't accept her facebook add friend request. Can she still find a way around it?

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED:
In my class, there was a lady from a hospital center who came to our class and talked about interviewing and getting a job. Then she dicussed how employers look through people's facebook and other social networking to get to know them better and everything. So, what happened was that, she said that "Come on, you can put your social networking website on private...but you're dealing with people who have Masters Degrees...."

So, does that mean that an intelligent person with a Masters Degree have ways they can get around your privacy settings?

If yes, does that mean they can request Mark Zuckerberg for help to get through your privacy setting?

Yeah ok, that lady's logic is stupid. They can only look if they know how to hack into a profile.

no facebook doesn't allow people to view other people profiles unless you are friends with thy person. Unless you have your profile on public and then other random people can probably see your profile

This is BS

If you have set facebook privacy settings properly, than no one is going to access the information you want to hide.

Though if there's a Security Flaw in Facebook than people can access your information by means of GreaseMonkey, JavaScript etc.

Also if Facebook has granted specific people some special rights, than accessing information is possible - But I don't think FB will do such thing
