Any way to switch from FB Timeline?

A couple of months ago, I clicked on a link to "test drive" Facebook's Timeline. At that time, Facebook had not yet launched it permanently. Well, even though facebook was supposed to launch this as a permanent set-up to their users, apparently they haven't, because many, many people still have the old format, including my own children. I can't stand the format of this Timeline, and I want to go back to the old format. Pictures don't fit in the space provided. Information is all over the place in all kinds of random order, and lots of other things I just really don't like about it. I want my old format back. Does anyone out there know how I might be able to switch back? Thanks in advance if you've got any info to share!

You can't switch back, and Facebook is actually getting ready to fully update every profile sometime next week. There is never a way to revert back to a previous look when Facebook forces an update like this, so people usually just get used to it within a couple of weeks.

Unfortunately there is no going back. Currently the update is optional where people can adopt it where they wish, however when this goes permanent I don't know.
