How can I hide my facebook wall from certain friends?

I have some family on facebook who I don't really want to see my wall.. I can't work the new privacy settings either.

Anyone who is your friend on Facebook can see your wall...its the whole point of Facebook: the people you know can see everything you do, and stuff. There is no privacy setting for this, but if you don't want your family to see stuff, just delete them. And if they ask, tell them you feel uncomfortable. Then again, you can always add them again, or block them if necessary. Dont worry, know the feeling.

1. Go the Account menu at the top right corner of Facebook and choose Privacy Settings.
2. Next to the How You Connect heading, click Edit Settings.
2. Use the audience selector to choose “Who can see posts by others on your profile (timeline)?”
Note: People you restrict from seeing posts from others will not be able to post to your Wall (timeline).

If you want to prevent people from seeing a recent activity story about a change in your basic info (ex: changed relationship status):
Click the Edit (Update Info) button in the top right corner of your profile (timeline) and find the field you want to edit. Before you edit it, choose Only Me from the privacy audience selector.
Make the change and then view your profile (timeline). You may see a story about it, but because you selected Only Me this story is only visible to you.
Delete the activity story from your Wall (timeline).
Go back to your Edit section and change the audience of that section back. Because you deleted the story from your Wall (timeline), they won't see a story about the change you made.

OR

whenever u post something that you don't want a few people to know about:
- just make a group of such people.
- n before posting change the privacy setting button given before the "post" as custom. and add the group name in text box below the "hide this from" tag.
