Twitter and instagram followers?

I know this is a stupid topic but is there how do I get a lot of twitter and instagram followers? My friends will follow like 300 people and get 700 followers back I will follow 500 people and maybe get 100 followers. How do I get more?

-follow people-follow u back
-follow ppl who say in their bio that they follow back
-like other peoples pictures(like 5 so they notice u) and maybe comment/like ppls tweets and retweet
-try to get a s/o
-get an unfollowing app for twitter and instagram and unfollow those looser who unfollowed or are not following you
