Would I be weird for messaging a girl now?

Basically, there is this girl that really like from my church. I usually see her once or twice a week and we talk a bit - not lots though. I have never chatted to her on Facebook before however I really want to, to be honest. She liked my latest status update (which only got seven likes ). Would it be weird for me to randomly message her and, if not, what should I say?

I think she likes me a bit because she looks at me differently to other girls, we both have the same favourite animal, she knows I love guitar and she plays flute, I'm a year older and I would call myself popular at school, I am, I think, a bit more at church though. I don't have her number atm , how could I get that because is it weird to ask her this late?

Go for it. as long as she knows who you are it's not weird.

Not weird at all! Just start a conversation like you would in person; there is no big difference.

There is nothing weird about this and you shouldn't feel that there is, you are just nervous. She will be happy to talk to you, unless she is busy.

Big tip here, don't every look deep into facebook. A like or a convo is just that,

Nothing wrong with chatting on FB, but if you already know her why not talk in person. As your talking ask for her phone number. Its a lot more fun than communicating through a chat window.

I would wait until she was on line to message her. You could start off by telling her you missed her in church.

Don't ask for her number on Facebook, though. Wait until you see her, then ask for her number saying that you enjoy talking to her and would like it to be more.
