How to make my facebook safe from hacking?
So, my stupid cousin figured out how to hack my facebook from my computer. He apparently used some kind of codes that made facebook think that he was a moderator. This allowed him to read all my private messages, see all of my friend requests, etc. Does anyone know how to encrypt may facebook, or just make it safe from hacking? My password is over 20 characters long, so please don't say to "change my password to something harder" or whatever. I need knowledgeable, informed answers so that I can protect my facebook privacy in the future. Thanks!

I could tell you right now that there is no way to keep your Facebook account completely safe. Because there isn't, as the previous answer stated.
But there are obviously ways to keep your Facebook account SAFER.

1. Do not use your Facebook password for any other purposes, such as registering to a website with your Facebook password and email address.
2. Do not download software unless you know it is legitimate, especially if you don't have a good antivirus. (I recommend getting the avast! free trial to keep your computer safe). There are MANY viruses out there that can easily steal your account information.
3. Have an email address that is made individually for Facebook. You will get a few advertisement emails here and there, but that is because Facebook takes your interests and sells them to companies in order to offer you products that you may like. (In a nutshell).

If you follow those tips your account safety may improve, but definitely not drastically.
