Why is my ex acting crazy?

I dated this guy for about 5 months. We never made it official but I'd consider us being together at the time. Back in the end of October ( about 3 months ago)out of nowhere, he texted me and told me he didn't want relationship right now. Then that was it. He didn't say anything to me until he randomly tweeted me a month later and it was a video of a comedian we both loved. I was confused as to why he did that. Then he would always retweet and favorite my stuff on twitter. Then 2 weeks after that he started a convo on twitter again. Then on Christmas Day he unfollowed me on twitter and deleted me from snapchat. Then I figured he really didn't want me in his life so I unfriended him on Facebook. 2 weeks after I unfriended him, he deleted his Facebook completely and hasn't used his twitter or any other social networking site.
What I want to know is why was he trying to start convos with me and then just deletes me from everything out of the blue? And do you think I'm part of the reason why he deleted and stopped using social media. After he started convos with me, I accepted the fact that we could be civil and friends. I mean, the break up didn't end badly, no fighting, nothing.
I just think it all seems weird and maybe I had something to do with it

u should talk to him...at least for a guy to do something like those shows he cant stop his feelings for u...

cuz he cant stop talking to u ..and when he realise hez doing something he ended up,,,he deleted the whole fb, y would he del the whole thing? cuz he doesnt wanna be in those places as he cant stop the wish to see u and talk to u then...

i should hez feeling alone ...way too much of it killing him,,,if u dont know the reason ask him...

To me?...it sounds like he had another girl in his life (in october). That didn't work out...so maybe he got hold of you again?

But then she came back...so unfollowed you again. Back and forth...back and forth between women.

Don't make your self confuse. If you have any doubt about your relationship and still want him back in your life then, you should have to talk with him face to face. May be because of this you can both clear your issues. If he refuse to meet you then you should move on.
