Why facebook timeline haven't implemented to all yet?

I was told that everybody's profile will turn automatically timeline by 23rd dec., but its 27th and many still has old layout. Why timeline isn't implemented to everyone yet.
But I heard whether they switch it or not it will automatically turn to timeline. But it isn't

People have the option for the timeline. Some people don't want it so they won't switch it.

iv had my timeline since august as a developer preview so i have a little inside and its because facebook have been getting complaints about to many updates and its getting confusing for users so at the moment there only doing it to the most user who post status's but will soon be availible to all january 2012

Facebook is getting negative feedback due to this new timeline. So, they are slowly rolling-out this time. Also, FB implemented the new timeline on more than 50% users of India. But till now, mostly are in review period in which you only able to see the new timeline in your profile, not of others.

My facebook account is 100% changed to new timeline, including my public profile (profile for sign out users).

dates can always change if they find glitches in it, so just be patient

You are not able to see the new time-line feature on many profiles because of the user preferences. If they want to stick to the old layout, then they do not switch over to the new timeline. Based on the response, Facebook will change every timeline to the newly designed one or revert back to the old one itself.

the Facebook.com is lunch the time line for newly, but its not compulsory for all, its optional

There was a lot of false information going around because Facebook didn't make any official statement about how the upgrade would be deployed. Although Facebook upgrades have never been optional until this moment, Facebook never said that it would implement Timeline automatically for everyone in a certain date.
