I want to raise money fo charity?
I'm 16 and i was thinking of doing the moonwalk in edinburgh to raise money for breast cancer, but i'm not sure and i might not have enough money to enter. How would i go about getting my school to set up a sponsored walk for cancer? Or even raising money out of school for other charities? How would i go about raising money and what sort of things can you do for charity?

Why not WORK for the money, then donate it or use it fo the entance fees? You are 16. Go WORK and earn some money.

Well for school, you can talk to your principle/head master and see what they think of it (from my experience they usually like the idea as long as you show commitment to making it successful). You could even talk to your school's student leaders (here we have the SRC (student representative council), I don't know what you have there) because they usually handle at least a couple of small fundraising events.
For out of school, you could make a facebook page for it or a blog where you can ask your friends to like it and spread the word, and then post your progress.
As for what you can actually do to raise money, there are several ways you can do it. There are sponsered events where you can do something (e.g. a walk/run/something else) and ask people to pay you for doing it. Then there are sale events where you get people to donate/make things to sell (e.g. bake sales and fetes). And then there's just asking people to donate money. The first two are usually the best for fundraising and are more fun for everyone involved.
Here are a bunch of ideas you could look into:

Local businesses may be interested in helping too so you could look into asking them because sometimes they donate things.
