Is a guy's height important?
I came across this last night and it horrified me. I don't believe that a man's height adds to or subtracts from his value as a human being.

What are your thoughts?

I couldn't agree with you more, Democritus. I have known these things for a long time. Can you imagine if these were guys, talking about how flat chested women were insignificant and should disappear?

Society puts in almost everyone's head that a male should be taller in a relationship. My boyfriend is a couple inches shorter than me and he doesn't care one bit. A lot of times, shorter guys tend to look more attractive, but height throws many women off.

Who knows, one day, when all these tall men are married to short little pudgy women, you'll be married to a tall model.

Height bigotry is real, and women's expectations are incredibly unrealistic.

71% of women said that if a man was under 6 feet tall, then he "doesn't stand a chance" when it comes to dating.

However, only 14.5% of the male population in the USA is 6 feet or taller.

Compare this to the fact that on an online dating site, women judged 80% of men below average attractiveness.

Also, psychologists have noted that narcissism is a growing problem among western women.

Western women's expectations are not in touch with reality.

I tend to be attracted to taller guys although that does not mean I wouldn't go out with someone my height. I am 5'2.
