How do I stop friends from seeing who I just added on Facebook?
Whenever I add somebody, I think it shows up on news feed because sometimes a friend would text me, 'who is that girl you added?' or something like that. How do I keep them from seeing this on the news feed. I tried when i try hard enough, I can 'hide' it from my timeline or 'not allow on timeline' but I am reminded that it will still appear on news feed and other places on facebook. please help. I tried to google it but the advice they give is from two years ago and they have updated my facebook since then so i can't follow their technique.
It keeps saying something like 'Peter is now friends with Mary.' i don't want this to come up in news feeds.
