How to get facebook timeline?

Ok so it is 2012. I ignored the option when it first came out and it did not automatically change on the 23/24 of 1011. I followed the facebook directors thing step by step from youtube. All the videos were the same but for some reason my facebook at a some point did not take me to a page they all went to. I tried the "get it now" button but it won't show up! How do I get the timeline now????

On my profile, there is a window at the top asking if I would like to change to timeline, but I'm guessing thats not the case with you.

Try going to the page/wall of a friend who has timeline, sometimes an option for you to get it will come up and the top of the page.

Also, when you go to the facebook homepage try clicking the "learn more" link on the left side. Then click the green "Get Timeline" button at the bottom of your screen.

First login into your facebook profile, then.
Go directly to this link http://www.facebook.com/about/timeline and then click Get Timeline.

Another way is to go to someone's profile who already has timeline and click Get Timeline (Its somewhere on the top right)

That's odd. You should already have a timeline since I think Facebook has switched all their pages over. Scroll down to the bottom of your homepage inside Facebook and click on "Help." From there search for solutions to make the switch. Chances are it's just a bug within Facebook that has prevented your page from changing.
