my ex says he still loves me?

So me and my broke up 4 months ago, and he messaged me on facebook saying he still loves me and that he wishes he never broke up with me, he even told me that he left me because he wanted to protect me from his dad because a lot was going on in his life which included his dad, but he didnt tell me what was going on. When he broke up with me, he told me I needed someone else, and didnt mention his dad , and his friend told me he dumped me for another girl. He told me he still loves me..do you think he's making up the hing about his dad?

Maybe he was scared his dad would rape you or abuse you in someway. You were told he dumped you for another girl so find out if this is true. Then you will know he lied to you and made up this story about his dad. If you find out he did not go with another girl then he really could be trying to protect you from his father. Follow your gut on this. If you think he will break your heart again then move on. If you think he is the one for you then talk to him and ask him about this other girl. But kknow the facts first by checking out his facebook page or asking friends who he broke up with you for. Get her name. Ask her. Do your research if you think you want him back. If not then just ignore him until he goes away.
